Google's biggest Internet company, on Wednesday (11 / 5), change the look of its search engine homepage to mark special Doodle 117th anniversary of the legendary choreographer Martha Graham. The work and contribution in the world of modern dance was chosen by Google with an animated work of Ryan Woodward.
Martha Graham was a dancer, teacher, and choreographer of modern dance legend in the U.S.. He was born on May 11, 1894 in Allegheny City, Pennsylvania. He started his professional career in 1916 and most of the choreography was influenced by oriental art.
Graham is also known as the originator of the idea of modern or contemporary dance first, to become a legendary icon of modern dance choreographers in the U.S.. Graham died at her home in Manhattan in 1991, stepped on the age of 96.
Martha Graham has made more than 180 works of choreographers. The legacy of his life in the techniques used by the schools of modern dance throughout the world, including the foundation of his Martha Graham Dance Company, continues to be developed since its inception in 1926. He left the stage at the age of 75 years.
