Chelsea's 0-0 draw with Everton until the end of the first round of Premier League match, at Goodison Park on Sunday 05/22
Chelsea had difficulty developing the game in the first ten minutes. They are also almost conceded by firing Phil Jagielka (8) and Jermaine Beckford (10).
Only after that Chelsea are able to master the situation. Besides able to break the opponent's attack, the more consistent Chelsea created chances. Until the 37th minute, they create at least three good chances through Frank Lampard, Nicolas Anelka, Alex and Ashley Cole, which unfortunately none of them led to goals.
Everton can only reply was a series of threats in the 39th minute through a shot that missed Leighton Baines to the left side of goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Chelsea reacted quickly to improve the coordination game and regained control of the situation. However, although not threatened, they still closed the first half with the score 0-0.
