Two Moons on August 27: Mars and Earth Moons Hoax by NASA - People now are very curious about this news of the two moon phenomenon due today, Friday, August 27, 2010. It was reported also that the second moon which is actually be the planet Mars and on its rare occasion, the two moons will appear at the same time.
Mars will come so close to the Earth with estimated 34 million miles that will also appear the same moon.
According to a recent email that has begun to circulate all around the Internet, there will be “two moons” in the sky on August 28. The original email dates back to 2003, when Mars passed the closest the earth has ever seen it in 60,000 years.
Although Mars was brighter in 2003, it still wasn’t as bright as Venus.
For the seventh year in a row, NASA said, people will be staying up Friday night to see if Mars appears as big as a full moon.
